Ariel Argueta San Marino High School Graduation
In the fall of her senior year, Ariel’s counselors sat us down in a conference room, and advised her that home school credits were not going to be honored, and that she would not graduate with her peers. I’ll never forget the look of defeat on her face. It broke our heart. She didn’t tell us anything, but that night she registered herself for multiple online college courses to satisfy the credits she was short. There were many long tear filled nights and 5 AM mornings. In the end, she proved everyone wrong, and learned something about herself, that can only be taught their experience and adversity. We are very proud of her and can’t wait for what her future holds.
