As a city, Glendale isn’t too large nor too small. It’s “just right” size helps it avoid some common big city issues such as the bureaucracy and dysfunction of other detached big city agencies. Glendale’s crime rate is also half that of the average U.S. city. The city is as well known for its Armenian bakeries & kebab houses, as it is for dim sum spots and Italian delis.
