Yasiel Puig’s New House Broken Into After World Series

Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig’s Encino home was broken into Wednesday night around a hour after the Dodgers lost Game 7 of the World Series, according to published media reports and police.

Los Angeles Police officers reacted to a robber alarm at a home on Puig’s square around 9:45 p.m., said Officer Rosario Herrera, a department spokeswoman.

Officers found a crushed window at the home, and things had been taken, Herrera said. The LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division is investigating the break-in.

“No one was home at the time,” Herrera said.
